Experiencias de docentes que asisten a niños internados y sus familias, en la zona de influencia de la escuela domiciliaria y hospitalaria n° 302, Dr. Atilio Rebello, de la ciudad de Comodoro Rivadavia, Chubut año 2024

Abstract

El objetivo de este proyecto final es el de conocer las experiencias de los docentes que asisten a niños y familias en situaciones vulnerables de salud, abarcando factores internos y externos, vocación, sentimientos, integración familiar, dentro del proceso de aprendizaje. Para respaldar esta investigación, se han consultado teorías de enfermería y se han analizado artículos científicos relacionados con el tema de investigación. El estudio se realizó con la participación de seis entrevistados, de entre 30 y 55 años de edad, con experiencia en la modalidad de docencia domiciliaria/hospitalaria en la localidad de Comodoro Rivadavia, provincia del Chubut. Para realizar la entrevista se utilizaron 16 preguntas abiertas semiestructuradas, cuyo análisis permitió identificar las características de la modalidad en cuanto a tipos de estrategias utilizadas, recursos empleados, la reacción y actitud de las familias y los niños ante situaciones complicadas de salud. Entre los resultados más relevantes, se resaltan la vocación de servicio, desde la empatía y el amor a la docencia. Es notable la importancia de centrarse en la interacción con el niño y su familia, para lograr un proceso de aprendizaje óptimo y satisfactorio para el docente que acompaña. La finalidad de la investigación fue comprender cómo el personal docente percibe su profesión, cuáles son sus métodos para lograr el objetivo final que es el de enseñar, a pesar de la circunstancia que atraviesa cada familia, sin dejar de lado la empatía y el amor por la vocacion.The objective of this final project is to understand the experiences of teachers who assist children and families in vulnerable health situations, encompassing internal and external factors, vocation, feelings, and family integration within the learning process. To support this research, nursing theories were consulted and scientific articles related to the research topic were analyzed. The study was conducted with the participation of six interviewees, between the ages of 30 and 55, with experience in home/hospital teaching in the town of Comodoro Rivadavia, Chubut province. The interviews used 16 semi-structured open-ended questions. Their analysis allowed us to identify the characteristics of the teaching modality in terms of the types of strategies used, resources employed, and the reaction and attitude of families and children in the face of complicated health situations. Among the most relevant results, the vocation of service, rooted in empathy and a love for teaching, stands out. The importance of focusing on interaction with the child and their family is notable in order to achieve an optimal and satisfactory learning process for the teacher who supports them. The purpose of the research was to understand how teachers perceive their profession and their methods for achieving the ultimate goal of teaching, despite the circumstances each family faces, while maintaining empathy and love for their vocation.
