Percepción del equipo de enfermería sobre la organización del servicio de clínica médica quirúrgica para la atención segura de los pacientes en un hospital zonal público de la ciudad de Comodoro Rivadavia en el año 2024

Abstract

En este trabajo se realiza una reflexión y análisis sobre el proceso metodológico y su dimensión epistemológica, procedimiento en el cual se resuelve qué es lo que se quiere investigar. Así mismo, en esta primera parte del proceso de investigación se describe desde una lógica cualitativa que puede contener algunos aspectos cuantitativos, que tienen en cuenta la fenomenología como método y filosofía de investigación. Los puntos que se encuentran en este estudio son: el área temática donde se determina el aspecto de la realidad que se va a estudiar, aquello que se abordaría en la investigación, el planteo de los intereses personales del investigador. Luego, en la línea de investigación se ocupará de desarrollar investigaciones sobre problemas que generen conocimientos para la práctica del cuidado de salud de la persona en relación al ejercicio de enfermería. Asimismo el objeto de investigación construido en torno al cuidado y las preguntas que surgen, de qué se desea investigar en relación con el objeto, y por último, la fuente de interés se plantea por medio de artículos científicos de investigación que aportan al conocimiento, al problema y se utilizan para el logro de los objetivos. En la segunda etapa se refleja la construcción del estado del arte, el marco referencial conceptual teórico que aporta el contexto de trabajo, los conceptos de objeto de investigación y teorías que sustentan la investigación planteada. Luego se expresarán los objetivos vinculados al objeto de investigación y finalmente se plantea la relevancia académica que se expondrá en este trabajo: cómo la investigación contribuye a la profesión de enfermería en el futuro. La población de estudio fue compuesta por profesionales de enfermería que desempeñan funciones en el servicio de clínica médica quirúrgica del Hospital Alvear. Las entrevistas que se pudieron realizar en el proceso de salida de campo fueron a cuatro informantes enfermeras quienes dieron información importante. Como resultados de este estudio se identificaron tres convergencias finales las cuales se pueden interpretar con la teoría de Kristen Swanson y los Modelados de Roles (Helen C. Erickson, Evelyn M. Tomlin y Mary Ann P. Swainn), así como artículos científicos académicos que respaldaron la investigación. Así mismo, esta investigación permitió realizar un análisis de la interpretación de los profesionales de enfermería sobre la seguridad del paciente en el ámbito hospitalario. Además, se destaca la necesidad de trabajar con indicadores de calidad de cuidado en el servicio y continuar con la formación continua con el objetivo de desarrollar habilidades que permitan brindar cuidados seguros.In this work, a reflection and analysis will be carried out on the methodological process and its epistemological dimension, a procedure in which it is decided what is wanted to investigate. In this first part of the research process, it would be described from a qualitative logic that may contain some quantitative aspects, also taking into account phenomenology as a method and philosophy of research. The points that would be found in this study would be the thematic area where the aspect of reality to be studied will be determined, what would be addressed in the research, an approach to the personal interests of the researcher, then in the line of research, it would be in charge of developing research on problems that generate knowledge for the practice of health care for the person related to the practice of nursing. Likewise, the object of research continues, constructed in which we want to know about care and the questions that arise from what we want to investigate in relation to the object, finally, the source of interest that is raised by means of scientific research articles that contribute to knowledge, to the problem and is used to achieve the objectives. The second stage will reflect on the construction of the state of the art, the theoretical conceptual framework, and the work context, concepts of the research object, and theories that support the proposed research. The objectives linked to the research object will then be expressed, and finally, the academic relevance will be raised, which will be presented in this work, as well as how the research contributes to the nursing profession in the future. The study population was composed of nursing professionals working in the clinical medical-surgical service of Alvear Hospital. Interviews conducted during the field trip process were conducted with four nurse informants, who provided important information. As a result of this study, three final convergences were identified, which could be interpreted using Kristen Swanson's theory and Role Modeling (Helen C. Erickson, Evelyn M. Tomlin, and Mary Ann P. Swain), as well as academic scientific articles that supported the research. This research also allowed for an analysis of nursing professionals' interpretations of patient safety in the hospital setting. Furthermore, the need to work with quality-of-care indicators in the service and to continue ongoing training with the goal of developing skills to achieve and provide safe care is highlighted.
