Objetivos: describir las vivencias de las madres sobre el cuidado de enfermería a su hijo prematuro internado, comprender las experiencias que transitan, y describir el apoyo que reciben de su entorno, en la UCIN del Hospital Zonal Trelew. Utilizando el paradigma interpretativo, cualitativa, fenomenológico, descriptivo, no experimental, transversal. Se realizaron 4 entrevistas abiertas, semi estructuradas a madres tenían a su hijo internado en el mes de septiembre 2023. Se realizó una reducción de los datos en torno a temas o categorías centrales dejando como resultado tres categorías y doce subcategorías. Utilizando la mirada de las teoristas Ramona Mercer, Hildegard Peplau y Betty Neuman. Resultados: es la primera vez que se realiza una investigación cualitativa en el servicio y es crucial establecer vínculos afectivos con las madres para mejorar la atención y el cuidado brindado.
